It may sound expensive, but if you put hours of effort, time, and resources into a piece that you are very proud of, you will be charging not only for what you put in, but probably your emotional attachment to it, and because the economy sucks lol.

Is that druzy a hematite? I always thought shiny black stones like this looked kinda cold and stark but you made me like them:)
If I could put into words why, you saw the potential to use the rough, little crystal bits as a focus of the pendant where some people would see them as a sort of interruption to the smooth, jet black surface of the stone.
You also complimented the highly polished shine of jet black with silver, which is a softer color and the intricate layer of pattern helps the eye to linger around the smooth edges of the stone, which makes it interesting by contrast. It looks both edgy and feminine, the cold hard color and strong geometry set against delicate wirework.
(sorry to go on and on, but its like writing notes to myself this way)
